Swaziland based producer Alex Muti

Background

His curiousity for music started growing about 8 years ago. His circle of friends were enthusiastic about comic books and sketching, eventually he found literature and stories interesting. After developing interest in sound production/video editing software, he joined Limkokwing University for a Creative Multimedia course which polished his skillset.

Awards

He is the mastermind behind one of the 2017 MTNSWAMA Song of the Year Nominees, Dj 1D’s Gijima Mfana and M. TriggerSon’s 2moro (Hapan’ Anozvigona) hit single which was performed at the 2017 award ceremony. He’s the one who produced M. TriggerSon’s anticipated Highway project, all 10 songs + the 2moro music video.

Early this year he released a playlist of exclusive beats that display his range (for stream only) in order to showcase some of the dynamics in his sound. He is currently crafting an EP (about 10 songs) featuring eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) recording artists – due to drop before summer, 2 singles + 1 music video already out.
